She holds both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Kansas, complemented by a Play Therapy Certification from Heartland Play Therapy Institute. Erin’s professional expertise was shaped by her initial focus on elementary-aged children in a school setting, followed by a significant role in the WRAP (Working to Recognize Alternative Possibilities) program at Bert Nash Community Mental Health Center, where she worked with adolescents. After obtaining her MSW degree, she continued as a WRAP therapist in the Lawrence Public School System, providing crucial services such as crisis intervention, therapeutic interventions, and support for at-risk children and their families. These experiences have honed her skills in addressing a variety of mental health challenges.

At Creative Connections, Erin’s practice now encompasses a broad range of clients, including children, adolescents, adults, and families.
