Sandtray in Play Therapy

Workshop Description:

How can placing “toys” in sand lead to deep emotional processing? At what point does it stop being therapy and become “just play”? This workshop is designed to answer those questions—and more—as we explore one of the most powerful and expressive techniques in play therapy: Sandtray Therapy. Participants will gain a foundational understanding of Sandtray Therapy, including its history, essential supplies, and core concepts and themes. We’ll also examine how Sandtray can be used effectively across a variety of settings, including individual, family, and group work. Whether you’re a curious beginner or looking to deepen your practice, this training will provide insight into why Sandtray Therapy is far more than just playing in the sand—it’s a transformational tool for healing and self-expression. Who’s ready to get #sandtrayed?
