Mackenzie Fischer, LCSW, RPT™
Mackenzie graduated with her BSW from Kansas State University and received her MSW from The University of Kansas. She received her Play Therapy Certification from MidAmerica Nazarene University. Mackenzie is currently a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Missouri. For the last 5 years, Mackenzie has worked as a Play Therapist and an Early Childhood Mental Health Specialist at a local non-profit. She primarily sees 2.5-5-year-olds and their caregivers. Mackenzie enjoys working with clients directly and providing training to caregivers and Early Educators. Her favorite part of her work is teaming up with adults to develop strong healthy relationships with children and connecting with those in the community.
Along with her work as a mental health professional, Mackenzie has 12 years of experience working in the world of Early Childhood. Mackenzie started her career as an Early Childhood Educator at a local Head Start Preschool Program. It was at this location that Mackenzie discovered her passion for working with 0-5-year-olds and their families. Mackenzie’s hope is to work alongside others to develop skills that will build safe connected children and families. Outside of work, Mackenzie enjoys spending time outside, exercising, and being surrounded by loved ones.
