Kayla Zartman, LSCSW, LCSW, RPT™

Kayla Zartman is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Kansas and Missouri and a Registered Play Therapist. With over a decade of experience, she has supported children, adolescents, and families through a trauma-informed lens. Her work includes residential settings, schools, and nonprofit organizations, all grounded in a deep belief in the healing power of play. Beyond her clinical work, Kayla has spent the past four years supervising graduate-level interns and clinical staff.

Kayla’s clinical passion lies in Child-Centered Play Therapy (CCPT). She sees children not as problems to be fixed, but as whole beings worthy of being seen, heard, and understood. Her approach is strengths-based and person-centered, honoring play as a child’s natural language and a powerful tool for growth and meaningful relationships.

She currently serves as a school social worker at Olathe Northwest High School, where she creatively integrates play therapy principles to meet the unique needs of adolescents. Kayla believes that play is for all ages, and that even in adolescence, it can foster deep healing, self-discovery, and authentic connections!
