Dianna Hall, LCSW

Dianna Hall is excited to be a part of the play instructor community at Heartland Play. She comes with over 20 years of experience in working with children and families. Dianna is a proud graduate of University of Central Missouri and University of Kansas. Thanks to her Jayhawk education, she has been a social worker for the past 18 years, obtaining her clinical license in 2005. While Dianna has spent the last several years working within Early Head Start and Head Start as a Mental Health Specialist/Coordinator she has a variety of experience. This includes positions in hospital, school, outpatient therapy and community prevention education programming settings.  Within all of these roles Dianna has been a primary trainer of various topics, and currently is a certified trainer in trauma informed care as well as crisis prevention.

Kansas City, Missouri has been Dianna’s home with her family for the past 24 years. She is a proud momma of 2 young adults, including a daughter following in her footsteps working in Early Childhood Mental Health.  Dianna enjoys watching action movies with her hubby and children, working with her horses and yoga. Helping infants, toddlers, preschoolers and their families grow has become Dianna’s passion and she looks forward to sharing and learning with all who come to training.
