Tina Clark

Tina Clark, LSCSW, RPT-S

Tina obtained her Bachelors in Social Work (BSW) from the University of Kansas in 1998 and her Masters of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Michigan in 1999. Tina’s professional emphasis and training has been with children and trauma, school-based mental health services and crisis response work. Tina has studied and attended trainings with Dr. Bruce Perry and Dr. Dan Hughes and has been trained in EMDR and CISD. In addition, Tina has completed Level 1 Theraplay Training, Level 1 Conscious Discipline training and has attended multiple trainings for Social Thinking.

Tina began her early career working with children in domestic violence, in community mental health and in the foster care system. Currently, Tina has 14 years of experience as a school social worker in the general education and special education settings. Tina’s work has focused on creating trauma sensitive environments within the school and with parents using Conscious Discipline and Theraplay, as well as supporting students with social-cognitive challenges at school and in their home. Tina has also served on the Association for Play Therapy Board (KSAPT) and as an adjunct faculty member for Kansas University in their social work department.
